Plan A Architects have obtained planning permission for a 105 m2 extension to this existing bungalow in the village of Moulsoe. This project will be starting on site in January 2012.

A large open plan living space will be created, stretching from the front of the property to the back. The family living area within this space will enjoy access to a new terrace through sliding folding doors. The more formal living area at the front is separated from the family living area by the new kitchen and a change in level.

The proposed extension of the property will allow for a greatly increased master bedroom with a new en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom will have access to its own terrace, overlooking the rear garden.

The original entrance hall is to be increased in size and will have built-in storage and a window. It will be possible to walk directly from the hall, through the bungalow, to the rear garden.

The entire property will be upgraded and modernised. All the windows will be replaced with double-glazed timber framed units. New rooflights will be installed to maximise the amount of natural daylight in the spaces. A new bathroom and guest toilet are to be installed. The entire building will be rendered externally.

Planning permission was also granted for a double garage extension to the front of the original bungalow.
